Cons: Significant image quality loss at close distances: at 2m (ca. 7 ft) edges and corners are not really good even at f/5.6 because sag. and tang. values drift strongly apart (tang. being much lower). No tripod mount included: at the price point a real shame.
Pros: Spectacular image quality at middle and far distances, very even sharpness and contrast up to the image corners, best performance already at wide open, low distorsion, low vignetting, beautiful bokeh, natural & faithful color rendition. Mechanically superb, smooth focus ring, short minimum distance.
Summary: A very, very fine lens, worth the high price. Reasonably light, easy to use. Likely the best landscape lens in this focal length region. Probably not the best portrait lens in this focal length region.
