Cons: build quality is not on the highest standart the aperture blades are not really blackened no internal focusing very, very rare and therefore hard to find
Pros: very, very sharp across the whole field from f/4.5 on contains floating elements for sharp pictures through the whole focus range very, very high microcontrast und also very, very high resolution (tested on my Sony A7R II) Very low CA`s. Better CA-correction than many other ED-lenses Very good and effective coatings wonderful rendering und smooth bokeh
Summary: I can recommend this lens without exeptions. It delivers sharp and crisp pictures full of details. If you have the chance to get one, get it, but be aware it is manufactured before 1992. Lenses built untill 1991 have at least on lens manufactured from the torbeclaas factory, which is made of very low dispersion glass. Sadly it is very, very rare and therefore hard to find. Some people are asking horrible prices for this lens.
