Overall
Owner since: 1 year
Price: $200
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Coma like a flock of birds wide open, distortion, flare, lack of filter thread from the bulbous front element, short focus turn makes it easy to misfocus (hyperfocal aside)
Pros: Fairly Sharp, price for 20mm at f2.5, K Mount
Summary: Fairly fast and a decent substitute over the more expensive CZ Jena 20mm f2.8 and the OEM lenses. Sharpness is not bad, I've shot events and its come out fine. Contrast is not bad either and improves as you stop down. The lens is really big and takes an 82mm push on cap but lacks a filter thread. The large front diameter and its triangular profile makes it awkward to store in your bag at times. Just to keep it short, it has its strengths and weaknesses but its great bang for the buck, works on digital as a 28mm substitute but really shines on film with the full field of view.
