Price: 159.00
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Soft at 200mm. This is what most reviews say and you think well how often will I use it at 200mm? When your daughter has her first ballet performance that's when. And then the photos that you really want to archive are less than what they could have been had you not been so stingy with equipment..
Pros: Cheap cheap cheap. Plus HSM and in lens stabiliser. Even though Pentax cameras have in body stabilisation I suspect that lens based at longer focal lengths might be better. But in truth if you really need it take a tripod.
Summary: Good value for money. Great way to work out if you need such a zoom. Then if it's a focal length you'd use more than just occasionally invest five times as much in a better one. Even for amateurs, recording key family events are worth it.

Cons: Sigma external finish.
Pros: HSM ultrassonic motor, metal bayonet, good image quality, excelent optical stabilizer performance. Better build quality than Canon 55-250 IS
Summary: Great quality for it's price.
