User profile: Amateur
Cons: Corner sharpness at the wide end, needs to be stopped down to at least to F=8 there, a little heavy, AF a little noisy
Pros: good colors and saturation with Pentax K10D, very versatile 24-200mm = 36-300mm on APS-C, good optical resolution when stopped down 1 step, AF quite fast and reliable, very good build quality
Summary: This is an underestimated lens which delivers good optical quality in most situations, with Pentax body stabilization fully working.
