Cons: The lens zoom become tight after heavy use. On one lens the lens stopped 'locking on focus' during auto focus.

Pros: This is a great lens, but not the build quality this pro desires. I use it heavily, thousands of photos a month. After 20 to 30 months of use it is sick and needing repair. Usually the zoom function becomes tight, and the barrel becomes loose and wobbly at the extended 120 mm setting. Distortion and vignetting easily controlled on post.

Summary: I like the focal length and the sharpness. I will use this lens until it's updated! Still it lacks in regards mentioned. Such a useful focal range I keep a couple around and use them daily.

Cons: sometimes heavy for walk around, bokeh not creamy for portraits (unlike nikon 85 mm or 50 mm).

Pros: focal length, price, versatility, build quality, good iq from 5,6 (center) - 8 (overall)

Summary: good all around walking lens

Cons: too expensive for what it does, AF a bit too slow, sharpness falling at 85-120mm

Pros: nice weight and size, very useful range, perfect all purpose/travel lens with average-good optical qualities.

Summary: for 800 Euros brand new I wouldn't mind the imperfections. for 1000 euros... It stinks

Cons: distortion when shooting wide specially at 24mm although correctible

Pros: very good image quality, autofocus is quick, VRII is excellent making it possible to shoot in low light conditions, fixed f4 aperture.

Summary: good all around walking lens
