Price: $900

Cons: The lens has some vignetting wide open, and the design and location of the switches for OS, focus limit and auto/manual focus could be improved .
Pros: A sharp well built lens that locks on focus quickly and quietly. OS system has 2 operating modes, position 1 for all movement and 2 for panning.
Summary: A very good lens optically. This is my favorite macro lens, but I have had a few times that the focus limit has inadvertently gotten changed and missed a few shots because of it.

Cons: The focus path is short for a macro lens. That makes manual focussing not as easy as it could be.
Pros: AF operates both very fast and silent, you can override it manualy. Very good OS. Distortions and lateral CAs are not existing, bokeh fringing is also not existing. That makes this lens a super-apochromat.
Summary: The best lens i ever had for makro-work. Also usefull for telefotos.
