So far we’ve tested 1.4/50 class Canon, Pentax and Sony lenses. The Nikkor 50 mm f/1.4D was left as the last one. The users of this system are really spoiled for choice in the segment of fast 50 mm devices. The 1.8/50 model, tested by us previously, fared really well and its price is affordable. The Nikkor 1.4/50 offers a bit better build quality and much better fastness. Does it feature a better optics as well? How does it compare with the rivals from other systems? We decided to check it out.

The lens was provided for testing purposes by the Cyfrowe.pl shop.
