7. Coma and astigmatism

Although the situation here is not as good as for chromatic aberration and distortion, there’s no real cause for complaint. Coma doesn’t cause problems on the DX matrix, though on the FX it will be evident both at full aperture and at slight stopping of aperture.

The same goes for astigmatism, averaging at 10.4% according to our measurements.
