Let’s check what the level of light fall-off of the tested lens is, both in JPEG and in RAW files, developed by independent software.

When it comes to JPEG files the vignetting is very difficult to notice. Already at the maximum relative aperture it amounts to just 13% (−0.39 EV) and it decreases to an imperceptible level of 6% (−0.17 EV) on stopping down the aperture by 1 EV.

In RAW files the vignetting level is a bit higher. By f/2.0 it reaches a moderate value of 25% (−0.81 EV). The problem disappears almost completely by f/2.8, where we got a result of just 11% (−0.33 EV). On stopping down the aperture to f/4.0 you see the vignetting decrease to 5% (−0.14 EV).
