The astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 values, amounted to 5.7%. It is a moderate level so we have no objections in this category.

Defocused circles of light look worse than those of the Fujinons 1.4/23 and 2/35 for a change. There are more onion rings and there’s a distinct rim too. You won’t have problems with noticing mechanical vignetting either.
