Lens review

Leica D Summilux 25 mm f/1.4

5 June 2009

9. Ghosting and flares

Leica 1.4/25 fares well with the work against the light at maximum relative aperture. When we stop down to about f/8.0 the problems occur, because we get quite significant artifacts when we place a strong source of light in the frame corner. Once again, we shouldn’t have this kind of troubles with such a top-notch lens.
