Sigma 10 mm f/2.8 EX DC FISHEYE HSM
11. Summary
- high build quality,
- great frame centre picture quality at maximum relative aperture,
- very good against the light work,
- low coma,
- slight astigmatism,
- low vignetting,
- a possibility to use standard filters,
- silent and fast autofocus,
- rich accessory kit,
- three-year warranty with the possibility of extending it by two more years.
Cons:
- the standard filters adapter makes the lens’s field of vision significantly narrower.
The lens is undeniably a big success. I admit I really had to struggle to find any faults with it and I endeavoured to write about the adapter for the cap and the filter.

In all other categories the lens had results from “good” to “outstanding”. Buying the Sigma we get a very solid instrument with a long warranty period and brilliant optical and mechanical properties. Could you wish for more? Maybe only so everybody could afford it…
