At minimal focal length we deal with imperceptible barrel distortion at the level of –0.22%. It changes the sign very quickly though and at 70 mm it already amounts to 1.05%. At 100 mm and 125 mm focal lengths it even increases further and is 1.65% but at 200 mm it decreases to 1.26%.

All these values put the new lens in a bit better light than the old one, which results even exceeded 2% in this category.
