5. Chromatic aberration

Chromatic aberration is slight only near the maximum relative aperture. Unfortunately on stopping down the value of this aberration increases, becoming medium very quickly, and by f/32 it even nears the high level.

Sigma 300 mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM APO - Chromatic aberration

After attaching the converter the problem becomes more pronounced. The aberration is medium by f/4.0- f/8.0 and it increases to high for bigger aperture values.
