5. Chromatic aberration

Serious problems with the chromatic aberration are very frequent in the case of wide angle Tokina lenses. If you thought that the new version of the12-24 mm model would get rid of them, you were wrong. Compared to the previous version we don’t even see any improvement - just look at the graph below.

Tormenting the Tokina here would be a pointless activity. Let’s just say that the chromatic aberration is simply huge, which can be seen on the graph, in the crops, presented below, and in sample shots as well.
