6. Distortion

In JPEG files we see slight pincushion distortion which value we assessed as 0.68%. What’s interesting, In RAW files distortion remains practically the same – 0.75%. Taking into account the fact that typical measurement errors amount to about 0.1% both values are in accordance with each other. It means that the camera, used in the test, considered the RAW files distortion so low that it wasn’t worth any correction.
