We have an interesting point in this category. Even the Micro 4/3 system, which as the first shifted the responsibility of distortion correction from the optics to the software of a camera, still tries to correct that aberration in telephoto lenses. The Fujifilm company went one step further. The optics of the Fujinon 2.4/60 doesn’t correct that aberration at all because the result of 2.36% in a fixed-focus lens with such parameters is simply very high. Of course after correcting a RAW file by the software and cropping its field of vision slightly the distortion, measured in JPEG files, is negligible amounting to just 0.36%.
