1. Introduction

The Olympus company has been enlarging its offer of Micro 4/3 lenses with impressive consequence. Although their line-up still lacks really fast models like f/1.4 aperture or better, the Premium series of high quality f/1.8-2.0 “primes” certainly deserves your attention. Its first representatives, the Zuiko Digital 12 mm f/2.0 ED and the M.Zuiko Digital 45 mm f/1.8, were shown in 2011; then in 2012 the M.Zuiko Digital 75 mm f/1.8 ED and the M.Zuiko Digital 17 mm f/1.8 joined those two. At the beginning of this year another lens, the M.Zuiko Digital 25 mm f/1.8, was launched. The following chart summs up the basic properties of that series. As you can notice only the latest model hasn’t been tested by us yet so we catch up on our work with that review.

We would like to thank Olympus Poland for lending us the lens for testing purposes.
