9. Ghosting and flares

It is not easy to correct flares in an instrument with as many as 14 optical elements and the front element not covered by anything. The Zeiss optics specialists didn’t make a good job of it but they shouldn’t be criticized harshly because of it. Flares are rare and you can catch them only when a source of bright light is situated almost precisely in the frame corner. If you move it a bit the artifacts disappear and the images are properly contrasted too.
