The astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 8%. Although it influences the image quality near the maximum relative aperture, the Panasonic fares better here than the Olympus 1.8/25 and it is almost as good as the more expensive Panaleica.

The out-of-focus circles of light look nicely. The light spread is even, without any distinct local extremes; the only reservation concerns a bit lighter rim on the edge of the circle.
