Looking at photos below and taking into account the fact that you deal with a huge, convex front element and a very complex optical construction you can say there’s no tragedy. Of course that performance can hardly be called perfect – you can catch flares both on the smaller sensor and on full frame, no matter what aperture you employ. Still in this category no other rival managed to perform flawlessly and we witnessed such slip-ups like the performance of the first version of the Samyang 2.8/14 in which case huge flares could spoil the entire photo.
