Samyang AF 35 mm f/2.8 FE

6 December 2017
Arkadiusz Olech

9. Ghosting and flares

The performance against bright light of the Samyang 2.8/35 is just average. There are no serious problems or huge slip-ups but the situation remains far from perfect. You see ghosting and flares of various types for different combination of sun position and aperture values but you can rarely find a situation when a whole shot is spoiled by these effects completely.

The Sonnar prevails in this category as, additionally, its photos were better contrasted.
