Not so long ago the Fujinon XF 60 mm f/2.4 R Macro, launched around 2012 with the whole Fujifilm X system, was the only macro device offered by Fujifilm on the market. It was wasn’t a fully fledged macro lens because of its 1:2 magnification factor. The users had to wait over five years for a classic 1:1 macro instrument which was launched only in September 2017 - we mean here the Fujinon XF 80 mm f/2.8 LM OIS WR Macro.
Courtesy of the Fujifilm company we were able to borrow one specimen of that optically interesting lens and now, after testing if thoroughly, we are going to share our impressions with the Readers.
