Venus Optics LAOWA 12 mm f/2.8 ZERO-D
1. Introduction
The Venus Optics LAOWA 12 mm f/2.8 ZERO-D is not an exception. It is a full frame, reflex camera instrument with an angle of view of over 120 degrees. That fact already makes it pretty unique because there are not many such instruments on the market. What’s more, its aperture is as fast as f/2.8, a feature unavailable in any other lens. As if it wasn’t enough the inscription ZERO-D in the name promises you better-than-typical distortion correction.
Such an accumulation of original features was an excellent argument for testing the lens thoroughly. We would like to thank FoxFoto the distributor of Venus Optics Laowa products in Poland, for sending us one specimen of the tested lens very quickly.
