The Sigma's A 14–24 mm f/2.8 DG DN performance against bright light is really good. No matter what aperture you employ, you really have to try hard in order to catch any ghosting or flares. Additionally, if you finally manage to catch them light artifacts won't occupy a lot of space in your frame and they won't be very intensive either. What's more, there is no huge loss of contrast even if you take photos against direct bright light.
The reflex camera model fared well in this category too but it seems that in the case of the mirrorless lens the producers even refined some details and, as a result, its performance against bright light is a tad better. A round of applause!
