There are no reasons to complain about the performance against bright light of the Nikkor lens – flares and light artifacts are practically invisible. It is not easy to get them at all and when you actually manage to catch them they occupy a small area in photos and are not especially intensive. Anti-reflection coatings and the inner construction of the lens seem to perform as they should.
