Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18 mm f/1.4 R LM WR
1. Introduction
Fujifilm based their X system on APS-C sensors and hey offered an f/1.4 lens, namely the Fujinon XF 35 mm f/1.4 R, as early as the moment of the launch. The following year, they showed the Fujinon XF 23 mm f/1.4 Rn and less than two years later – the Fujinon XF 16 mm f/1.4 R WR. Then there was a long period of inactivity and you had to wait for the next f/1.4 instrument practically six years. On 15 April 2021 the Fujinon XF 18 mm f/1.4 R LM WR was shown, a fast prime with an angle of view amounting to 76 degrees.
The following chart presents a summary of basic parameters of all f/1.4 lenses we mentioned above.
