Venus Optics LAOWA Argus 33 mm f/0.95 CF APO
1. Introduction
The Venus Optics Laowa Argus 33 mm f/0.95 CF APO is the first representative of that series, a manual lens designed for APS-C sensors and produced with the following mount variations: Canon EOS-M, Canon R, Fuji X, Nikon Z, and Sony E. The lens provides an angle of view of 46 degrees, practically with a perfect accordance with the angle of classic, full frame 50 mm devices. The aperture of f/0.95 allows you to explore some possibilities of a shallow depth of field and have a lot of creative fun.
Let's not beat around the bush – we tested the Argus 0.95/33 thoroughly and in the following chapters you will find our impressions. Enjoy your reading!
