On the smaller APS-C/DX sensor you can notice some barrel distortion which value we determined as −0.83%. That result is a bit higher on full frame, reaching −1.51%; still, taking into account the angle of view of the tested Irix, there are no reasons to complain.

However, in this category the Irix performs a bit weaker than its rivals. The Otus 1.4/28 had distortion of −1.39%, and the distortion level of the Sigma A 1.4/28 was just −0.86%. You should also emphasize the fact that the task was more difficult for both these lenses as they feature a bit wider angle of view than the Irix.
