The Viltrox AF 50 mm f/1.8 Z doesn't fare well in this category. When you put the sun inside the frame you can catch significant glare and when you put it right behind the frame corners your images might feature diagonal artifacts that occupy a lot of space. Even if you move the source of bright light far away from the frame you can notice distinct discolouration on your photos.
Mind you, you don't deal here with a wide angle of view, and the front element is not especially big either; overall it seems the bar is not set especially high. To be honest we expected a far better performance.
