Sony E 15 mm f/1.4 G
9. Ghosting and flares
As you see, the task is really difficult and Sony handled it in a not exactly perfect way. When it comes to the performance at the maximum relative aperture the situation is not so bad and you can have no serious reservations. Light artifacts are not especially intensive and few and far between. The situation changes on more pronounced stopping down – there are more reflections and they are brighter. What's more, you can spot them even if you put the sun far away from the frame corner. It definitely shouldn't have happened.
Even though the performance in this category is far from perfect it still fits medium levels. The results of the Sigma were even a tad weaker and, because of its narrower angle of view, its task was a bit easier.
