In case of this detector the lens gives you no reasons to complain. At the maximum relative aperture vignetting is slight, amounting to 16% (−0.50EV). By f/2.0 it decreases to a practically imperceptible level of 12% (−0.38 EV), and by f/2.8 it drops even further to a value of just 2% (−0.05 EV).

At the maximum relative aperture vignetting is 36% (−1.30 EV) and it is a very sensible result. It's worth mentioning the fact that the Sony lens fared weaker in that place, its light fall-off level amounting to 42%. Let's return to the Samyang - stopping down the aperture to f/2.0 is able to decrease the aberration to 34% (−1.19 EV), and by f/2.8 it reaches just 15% (−0.49 EV). Vignetting becomes completely imperceptible up from f/4.0, where we registered a symbolic result of 6% (−0.20 EV).
