The PanaLeica performs well against bright light for its parameters; still we managed to find one weak spot. Even if the sun is situated far away from the frame you can catch colourful light arcs. Fortunately they aren't especially intensive. In other frame configurations and positions of bright source of light it's difficult to catch anything; if there is any ghosting or flares, they are rather weak, few and far between, and never take a lot of space in the frame.
