7. Coma, astigmatism and bokeh

Thumbnails below show clearly that the Viltrox AF 75 mm f/1.2 doesn't have any serious coma problems. In the frame corner, at the maximum relative aperture, images of a diode are just slightly dilated but without any serious deformations. The situation even improves on stopping down the aperture to f/1.8.

Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between vertical and horizontal MTF50 function values, amounted to 8.7%. It is a value very close to the borderline between low and medium levels, so it doesn't provide you any reasons to complain.

Defocused circles of light look splendid, with very even light spread, without any local extreme points. Everything is spread very evenly but a brighter rim makes itself felt. Mechanical vignetting for a change is visible only up to the f/1.8 aperture.
