Taking into account the range of offered focal lengths, the fixed f/2.8 aperture and the complexity of optics we knew that, for the tested Tamron, the bar was raised very high in this category. Still the lens managed to overcome that obstacle without any serious problems.
Light artifacts can be caught but they are few and far between, produced only in very specific positions of the source of bright light, most often when you put it inside the frame. Mind you there are not many of them and they never take up a lot of space inside the frame. In this category the Tamron certainly should be praised.
