9. Ghosting and flares
That's why we are very nicely surprised that the Tamron performed in this category really well. In most of cases you won't deal here with either noticeable light artifacts or a distinct contrast loss. There is one significant exception, though. When you put the sun right outside a frame corner a significant area of your photo might get brighter. Still, it happens just for one very precise setting; it's enough you change the frame just slightly and the problem disappears.
Overall in this category the tested Tamron should be praised.
