Usually Venus Optics lenses don't deal with performance against bright light well. The tested Argus is, unfortunately, not an exception here. You can catch light artifacts for different combinations of sun position against the frame; their presence remains noticeable even when the sun is far away from the frame. The worst situation can be observed on stopping down the aperture and when you put the source of light right away from the frame corner. Then in your photo a very intensive white flare might appear and it partially overexposes the image.
