Fast zoom lenses that, additionally, feature wide angles of view, are never easy to correct when it comes to the performance against bright light. The tested Sigma faced here a difficult task and, looking at photos below, you can say it managed it quite well. Light artifacts can be caught from time to time but only in specific situations and even then their intensity is low. What's more, you can't notice any significant contrast losses across the frame.
