Cons: Corner/Edge softness at 24mm wide-open Not as wide as Nikon 10-24 / Tamron 10-24 / Canon 10-22 I am using Nikon so the ideal lens is 10-24 however, it is overbudget for me Some problem with center auto-focusing

Pros: Sharp wide open at 12mm. Sharper than nikon 10-24/ nikon 12-24/ tamron 10-24. Quite resistance to flare Constant F4 Excellent build quality Good range

Summary: I replace this Tokina 11-16 F2.8 with this lens. The 11-16 is sharper however, i find myself rarely use 11-16 because of limited range of 11-16 (too narrow). I dun like changing lens or carry around multiple lens. The 12-24 has better range and can be used as walk-around lens just like Canon 17-40 F4.

    Cons: None

Pros: Great build quality. Quick focus. Very good image quality, even wide open at 12mm. Internal focus. Lens stays same size when focusing or zooming. Front element does not rotate. Focus ring remains stationary when focusing. Quick, easy declutch for manual focus.

Summary: I am VERY halpy with this lens. I highly recommend this lens to anyone looking for an UW zoom.
