The Panasonic G Macro 30 mm f/2.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. is the cheapest macro lens dedicated to the Micro Four Thirds system. What’s important, you don’t notice that cheapness anywhere. It is a mechanically solid instrument with a lot of metal parts, produced in Japan. Its optical quality is so good that it didn’t have any serious slip-ups in our test. Our reservations concern only the strange performance of image stabilization but we didn’t have an opportunity to check whether it is an overall effect or just a flaw of the particular specimen we happened to test here.
