9. Ghosting and flares
It is not a performance worth our praise but, on the other hand, the more expensive L-series instrument didn’t impress us either – it’s true its images didn’t feature such huge flares but you could catch a whole series of small, green ones which made it equally difficult to take a good photo.
The predecessor fared weakly in this category as well; lenses constructed by independent producers are, on the other hand, an example to follow for all 70-300 Canon instruments, described here.
