Sigma A 14 mm f/1.8 DG HSM
1. Introduction
Faster constructions appeared quite recently, in 2016-2017, and the Irix 15 mm f/2.4 was the first, sold in two finishing versions, Blackstone and Firefly. Then, in September 2016, the Venus Optics LAOWA 15 mm f/2 FE ZERO-D and the Samyang 14 mm f/2.4 Premium were launched, just two days apart one from another. In February 2017 Sigma outmatched them all by showing the A 14 mm f/1.8 DG HSM model which performance we are going to test here.
We would like to thank the Sigma ProCentrum company for sending us very quickly the final specimen of the lens for testing.
