Tamron 35-150 mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD
1. Introduction
In April 2019 it turned out the new Tamron 17-35 mm was just the first part of a bigger plan; the second part was the Tamron 35-150 mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD and that lens could be called unique without any doubt.
Both lenses belong to the same line and are simply created to cooperate and supplement each other. They have the same aperture range and their focal lengths interlock perfectly so they offer a smooth transition from 103 degrees to 16 degrees. Apart from that the same filter size fits both of them. We don't doubt that, for an advanced amateur photographer, they constitute an excellent journalistic or travel set.

The Tamron 17–35 mm f/2.8–4 Di OSD we'd already tested and our impressions were very favourable so we truly enjoyed the possibility of testing the new Tamron 35-150 mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD as well.
We would like to thank the Focus Nordic company, the sole distributor for Tamron devices in Poland, for lending us one specimen of the lens which we used in our test.
You are also invited to get acquainted with our test procedure, described in the article "How do we test lenses?" If you feel it’s still not enough, please go to our FAQ section where you can find some further explanation.
