Pros

handy barrel,
excellent image quality in the frame centre,
sensible image quality on the edge of the frame,
moderate lateral chromatic aberration,
lack of problems with spherical aberration,
negligible astigmatism,
good performance against bright light,
silent, fast, and quite accurate autofocus,
favourable price-performance and price-quality ratio.

Cons:

plastic barrel,
too high level of longitudinal chromatic aberration,
huge coma,
high vignetting,
distinct distortion for RAW files.

The Fujinon XC 35 mm f/2 is a very sensible complementation of the line-up of Fujifilm X system lenses. The tested model performed very much like its more expensive brother, the Fujinon XF 35 mm f/2R WR, being almost two times cheaper. Of course you have to pay for it, by accepting a weaker build quality of the barrel, dominated by plastics. Still I think this lens will find a lot of buyers because it is a joy to use.
