Very wide angles of view, a complex optical construction, and a huge front element – such a combination usually proves to be problematic when it comes to performance against bright light. The tested Nikkor managed to avoid most of these problems so its performance should be assessed very positively.
You can atch some flares but these situations are few and far between; even if artefacts appear in your frame they don't occupy a lot of space and aren't especially intensive. Good job!
