Sony FE 50 mm f/1.2 GM
10. Autofocus
When it comes to accuracy we didn't have any reservations either, no matter whether we shot in our studio or outside. Misses happened but they were few and far between. In this category, once again the lens should be assessed very positively.
We didn't notice any distinct front or back focus tendency. In the photo below you can spot a slight depth of field shift toward the photographer but that effect isn't very pronounced and the proper target still remains sharp. Mind you, the photo was taken at the most difficult combination so at the maximum relative aperture and near the minimum focusing distance. During ordinary photos such a slight depth of field shift shouldn't be visible at all.
