Nikon Nikkor Z 28 mm f/2.8 (SE)
1. Introduction
In November 2021 we saw the Nikkor Z 28 mm f/2.8 which, optically, is like the SE version but its casing is different, evidently constructed with contemporary system Z devices in mind. The lens is designed for Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z9 cameras that feature contemporary casings.
We got one specimen of the SE version when we ordered the Nikon Zfc sent for testing and we didn't miss the occasion to test the lens as well. The results can be found in the following chapters – enjoy your lecture!

As usual, we would like to thank Nikon for lending us one specimen of the lens so we could test it properly.
You are also invited to get acquainted with our test procedure, described in the article "How do we test lenses?" If you feel it’s still not enough, please go to our FAQ section where you can find some further explanation.
