In this category there are a lot of lenses as fast as f/1.2 or even faster, mainly from independent producers, and among them you can find Voigtlander that, in July 2021, presented their Nokton series 1.2/35 model. Several months later the same lens was shown in the Nikon Z mount version.
We happened to get the Fujifilm X version so we attached it to our X-T2 camera and checked how it fared in our test. The results can be found in the following chapters – enjoy your lecture!
We would like to thank FoxFoto, a distributor of Voigtlander products for Poland as they were kind enough to send us one specimen of the tested lens.
You are also invited to get acquainted with our test procedure, described in the article "How do we test lenses?" If you feel it’s still not enough, please go to our FAQ section where you can find some further explanation.
