Defocused circles of light look really nice. You should remember that the lens features two aspherical elements and yet it managed to avoid any distinct onion-ring bokeh. What's more, it doesn't have any problems with a brighter rim. Mechanical vignetting is visible at the maximum relative aperture for a change and also on stopping down by 1 EV. Still, more significant stopping down is able to reduce this aberration to almost zero.
